COVID update from the Department of Education

The Department of Education released a media release on 19 May 2021 suspending all contact sports in schools with immediate effect.

It is with immense pride that we congratulate the matric class of 2020, as well as their dedicated and inspirational teachers and parents, on achieving wonderful results in their 2020 Cambridge final examinations, despite the 2020 challenges!

28 students wrote at the end of 2020 and achieved a 100% pass rate, 82 % university exemptions and 40 distinctions overall in all the subjects.


We would like to mention our top achieving students:

Darius Steinmetz (head boy) and Khiara Hira (head girl) who achieved a full house of A’s!

Well done on all your hard work. We are very proud of these excellent young adults.

The outstanding results they have produced are a testimony to a hard years work and dedication to their studies during a pandemic. We wish each one of our matric students an exciting 2021 and nothing but success as they embark on the next phase in each of their lives!

Our students are top in the country!

It was a very prestigious morning at Charter College.

For 10 years in a row we have achieved TOP Cambridge results in South Africa. Today we celebrated our amazing achievements.

Our students are TOP in the entire country!

It was a magical morning at our amazing school as the songs of the choir echoed through the trees. Snacks and coffee were shared among our family. Joy and pride was abound!

The Top in SA Cambridge awards were awarded to the following students:

  • Naadiya Seedat – Top in SA for Physics, Biology AND Mathematics!

  • Natalie Castanheira received top in SA for ICT.

  • Reece Stoltz was awarded Top in SA for Design & Technology!

We are so incredibly proud of you all!

IGCSE results for 2020

It was a morning of great jubilation and tears of relief as the grade 11’s came in to collect confirmation of their results for 2020 November IGCSE examinations.

We are immensely proud of this group of young adults , as 2020 was a difficult year and online learning had its challenges, BUT the results speak for themselves and prove that no pandemic could hold you back from achieving your best!
